What is the weather like today?

a) It’s a beautiful day! The Sun is shining, the sky is clear, and it’s at least 25 degrees Celsius.
b) Unfortunately the weather is very cold and dump today. It’s raining, too. I don’t like rain, and Idon’t like to be cold.

What will be the weather like tomorrow?

a) According to the weather forecast, it will be clear and sunny tomorrow, but there might be scattered showers, too.
b) According to the weather forecast, it will be snowy and cold tomorrow.

What sort of weather do you like most? And least?

a) I like when it is hot and sunny outside.
b) I like when it’s snowing.

Do you sleep with windows open?

a) Yes, I like fresh air, and I always sleep with open windows, even in winter. I sleep much better when it’s not too hot in the room.
b) I sleep with open windows only in summer. In winter, I always turn on the heating because I hate cold! I generally open the windows for 5 minutes to let in some fresh air.

Do you like sitting in the sun?

a) Oh, yes! I love sitting in the sun. I always look forward to my holidays. I generally go to the seaside.
b) Actually I don’t really like sitting in the sun. I prefer shadows. If the weather is too hot, I usually have a headache.

Which month does it rain most in Hungary?

a) I have no idea. I am not a weatherman/weathergirl.
b) I think it is April or May, but I’m not sure.

Do you like rain/snow?

a) I like snow, and I like winter in general because I can do a lot of winter sports, like skating and skiing. I don’t like rain, because you can’t do anything when it’s raining outside.
b) I don’t really like snow, I prefer summer to winter. I hate rain, too. I hate getting soaked to the skin.

How do you protect yourself from rain?

If it’s raining you can protect yourself with an umbrella or with a raincoat. You can also put on rubber boots.

Do you like snow? What do you do when there is snow?

a) I like snow, if there is a lot a snow I build a snowman or I go to sledge.
b) I hate snow, so if it’s snowing I generally stay at home, in the warm room.

What is the climate in England like?

The climate is very variable in England, so it is difficult to predict what the weather will be like. In general they have warm summers and cool winters. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t rain every day in England.
